We are looking for Service Desk Executive Chennai with 2 to 5 years of experience possessing the following skills:

Job Description:
• Serve as the first contact with customers who need technical assistance via the phone or email
• Perform troubleshooting using different diagnostic techniques
• Monitored Service Desk operations and escalated tickets to ensure client’s problems are handled as expeditiously as possible
• Call logging using INSTIL tool, classifying the problem through call category.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues
• Follow up with customers and users to ensure complete resolution of issues
• Redirect problem to correct resource
• Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
• Resolve technical problems and requests and document resolutions
• Providing help and answers to the customer’s technical issues through identification of the problem itself, research on answers and subsequent provision of guidance
• Guidance of the users to support them in becoming more productive
• Coordinating with engineer’s up to call closure without SLA deviation. Resolving incident tickets on the first call without escalation
• Managing 24*7 Service Desk as a part of Service Desk Management, creating various weekly / monthly MIS reports pertaining to process and productivity.
• Provide quick resolution and excellent customer service
• Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
• Provide needed information on IT products or services
• Keep record of problems and their resolution
• Follow-up with customers
• Provide feedback on processes and make recommendations on areas to improve
• Maintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting
• Suggest improvements on procedures

Desired Candidate Profile

• Working experience as a Technical Service Desk for (2 yrs to 5 yrs)
• Certification or knowledge in ITIL
• Any Graduate/Bachelor's Degree
• Hands on experience with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-oriented and patient


UG:Any Graduate in Any Specialization

PG:Any Postgraduate in Any Specialization

Doctorate:Doctorate Not Required
